This organization provides the opportunity for the development of leadership skills, personal and professional growth, and career related competencies. Involvement in Business Professionals of America will enhance social awareness, civic responsibility, and an understanding of the business community.

About the Conferences

The Kirtland BPA Chapter is a curricular club that enhances members' skills through a variety of competitive events.

There are 3 levels of competitive: regional, state, and national.

The regional contest is held in a community within the district.

Events:

This year's regional contest will be held at the Farmington CATE Center on December 7, 2016. The state conference is held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The state conference will be held from February 20-22, 2017. Members from across the state compete in contests, attend workshops, listen to guest speakers, and network with other BPA members.

The national convention is held in a metropolitan area in the United States. This year the national convention will be held in Orlando, FL from May 9-14, 2017.
While at the convention, members attend convention sessions, attend workshops, listen to guest speakers, network with members from across the nation, visit famous sites, and gain leadership skills that will be lifetime experiences.
